Country of Origin: Madagascar
Method of Extraction: The oil is steam distilled from the whole cut herb, i.e. the flowering heads, the leaves and stalks.
Main Therapeutic Properties: Antibacterial, Antifungal, Anti-inflammatory, Astringent, Calmative, Digestive stimulant,
Contraindications: Non-toxic and non-irritant in prescribed doses.
Did you know: Palmarosa belongs to the same family as Lemongrass and Citronella; this family is known as "copycats", containing a number of elements found in more costly plants.
Oil Appearance: Pale Yellow to Pale Olive.

Chinese Element: Fire.
Madagascar is known to produce the finest Palmarosa oil. It also comes from India.
Try adding 5 drops of Palmarosa, 2 drops of Ylang Ylang and 2 drops of Sandalwood to 30ml of Peach Kernel Oil for a pampering body oil.
To help aid relaxation after a stressful day, blend 2 drops of Palmarosa and 1 drop of Geranium in a teaspoonful of Sweet Almond oil and swish into a warm bath. Soak for at least 10 minutes.
